Tashkent

Chuna was born in Moscow, in a Korean family, who are survivors of the Population Transfer in the Soviet Union in 1930. One of the purposes they see in their art is talking about Russian history and events that are happening right now and how they affect people's lives. In May 2021 Chuna visited Tashkent - a city where their family ended up staying after Population Transfer. These works were done during the trip, capturing the most important and fleeting moments.
