Anne Pötzsch

She/HER, Bennington ‘26

At Bennington, Anne studies Literature and Creative Writing.

She has been a part of (m)othertongues since her freshman year and is part of the Web Team, writing blog posts and interviewing interesting people in connection to the themes of diaspora, interconnectedness and multilingualism. She is also an editor with a main focus on prose and poetry.

Anne loves baking bread with her bread machine.

Andrea Lara

She/HER, Bennington ‘26

Andrea is a Bennington student focusing mainly on Biology, Latin American Studies, and a bit of Creative Writing.

She is part of (m)othertongues’ Media Team, helping coordinate outreach through email campaigns and public events. She’s also the illustrator of the current (m)othertongues ‘flower’ logos used on our website and on social media.

Andrea knows how to set up mist nets and how to identify over 30 different species of northeastern U.S. birds! The first bird she ever banded was a Gray Catbird (Dumetella carolinensis).

CALLY AMISOLA

She/HER, Bennington ‘25

Studying Computer Science and Design, Cally’s studies explore new media and its impact on sociocultural identity in Southeast Asia.

She is (m)othertongues’ Web Manager, conducting maintenance and laying out & publishing website content. She also lends extra support with designing graphics and posters.

Cally was a competitive violinist! In her free time, she likes to arrange new pieces to play on her violin.

Fisiola Aryantie

ANY PRONOUNS, Bennington ‘26

Fisiola is studying Anthropo-Linguistics and Digital Design in orientation of cultural preservation and documentation.

Fisiola handles (m)othertongues’ social media and content creation. She is also part of the publication's design team. Outside of that, they also handle the general public outreach.

Despite being very responsive on social media, no one on campus could ever pinpoint where exactly Fisiola is.

Prasana Katwal

She/They, Bennington ‘25

Prasana's Plan at Bennington aims to examine communities at the margins and fringes of digital spaces through research informed by design practices and the impact of technology and media on the socio-psychological aspect of user experiences.

If (m)othertongues were a tree, she would be the roots.

Prasana collects vintage notebooks and dying leaves from every city she visits!

Sincere Jones

She/They, Bennington ‘26

At Bennington, Sincere studies Child Education and Visual Arts.

A new member of (m)othertongues, Sincere is working to bring their artistic creativity to the team through creational posters, event set ups, and public outreach.

Sincere is mostly chill — you can catch her socializing or busy speeding off to some event, never sitting still for long.
