mon oiseau, mon amour

mon oiseau, mon amour

If you were a bird,

I’d put you on my shoulder

and feed you little worms

As I walked to class.

Si tu vivais en volant,

Je te suiverais en courant,

Pour te montrer à quel point

Je voudrais prendre soins

De ton cœur ambulant.

If you were a bird,

I’d kiss you on the side

of your beak, Gently,

to let you know that I like you.

Si jamais mes jambes cassait

J'anéantirai tout c’qu'i’te tracasse

En m’battent avec mes bras

Jusqu'attend qu’ils abandonnas

Leur niaiseries et bêtasse.

If you were a bird,

Et tu tomberais

ill, I’d give you tea

a travers un pipette.

Si tu were un oiseau,

And tu asked me si

I t’aimais, I te dirais

je do, et we’d sit ici

ensemble in silence.
