Inspired by her Iranian heritage, Paniz’s collection reimagines the familiar view of jewellery as a symbol of one’s identity as well as a tool to gain attention. The simple, stone-set brass and silver pieces seem to resemble the traditional jewellery; however, the hidden sound mechanisms break through the old and allow unpredictable new characteristics. Each piece differs in size while the volume of sound that it creates is adaptable to the person’s confidence and character.
